FOR EVENT PARTICIPATION POINT AWARDS


THE PURPOSE OF THE CHAPTER EVENTS PARTICIPATION POINT AWARDS SHALL BE TO PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE 

HARLEY- DAVIDSON® MOTORCYCLING ACTIVITIES AND ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN CHAPTER AND H.O.G. EVENTS.

The point accumulation begins each year with the Annual New Year’s Day ride in January and ends on December 31. Participant must be a current Chapter member to be eligible to receive a point. Members participating in events posted on the North Georgia H.O.G. Calendar (except events designated as non-point events) shall receive Points under the following guidelines.


1) Ride events shall be one point for members who assemble and ride as a group to a destination via a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. (See note below)

2) Rides designated as an overnight event, shall be one point for participation in the ride to destination and one point for participation in the return ride as posted. (includes multiple night stays, i.e. a State H.O.G. Rally or other overnight events with Chapter sponsored rides.)

3) Members attending any State H.O.G. Rally or any event designated a H.O.G pin stop shall receive one point. (This is in addition to any points awarded per line 2.)

4) Non-riding Chapter events open to all members shall be one point.


Members participating in the most Chapter Events shall receive recognition with the top five positions, including any ties, receiving awards.The Ride Leader leading the most Chapter rides shall also receive recognition.

Chapter Officers are not eligible for membership participation points, however, the Chapter Officer participating in the most Chapter events shall receive recognition.


Presentation of awards and recognition as outlined above will be at the Chapter annual party, normally held in January.


These guidelines may be amended or changed at any time at the discretion of the Chapter Director after consultation with Chapter Officers.


Note: Participants are responsible for determining if their skills meet the level required for the ride. If you determine your current skill level does not meet the level required for a planned ride route, but you would like to participate in the ride event, inform the ride leader or any Chapter Officer as soon as possible and an alternative route will be considered that meets your skill level if available.
